The Great Canadian Kilt Skate has arrived on the West Coast. It has been a national event now for 9 years, and we’re delighted to host the first annual event in North Vancouver.
You don’t have to be Scottish. You don’t have to wear a kilt. But celebrate your inner Scot by joining us on the ice — and wear a bit of Canada’s favourite colour: Tartan!
Enjoy hot chocolate and, for the adults, a visit to the Tap & Barrel Pub next door for some "apres-skate" entertainment. There will be bagpiping and Celtic music.
Don’t want to wait until February 18 to celebrate Scottish culture with bare knees and ice? Join the “Home Edition” of the Great Canadian Kilt Skate — anytime, anywhere. Tag your photos and videos with #kiltskate2023VAN and help us win the title of Kilt Skate Capital of Canada.
