Join us for our annual kilt skate, celebrating with bare knees and ice Scotland’s contribution to Canada’s multicultural heritage.
Don’t have a kilt? Just wear a bit of tartan! But come out for the fun.
Program includes: opening ceremonies; Calgary Caledonian Choir; Highland dancers; bagpipers; Celtic folk band; and lots of SKATING!
We’re at a new venue this year, The Central Commons Park boasts a large public skating rink with 3 separate gas fired outdoor fire pits for skaters to warm up. It also includes an outdoor stage and has a ice skating rental shop, and lots of restaurants and bars.
