New developments -- and some great pix from last year

The momentum is certainly picking up.  We just received a call from CTV Morning Live and will be on television next Friday at 9:30.  This will be the Ottawa station, but we've asked the producer to do what she can to get the kilt skates in the partner cities interviewed by the local CTV station.

Also, we're pleased to announce that Milestones Restaurant at 325 Marche way will host our apres-skate party.  Tom Christie and his team did such a good job for us during Hogmanay.

Gillian Leitch is once again stepping forward to organize the Montreal kilt skate for the St. Andrew's Society of Montreal.  She sent us some wonderful pictures from last year's kilt skate..

And in Saskatoon, Jill Sauter sent us a photo from last year: a piper on skates.  She says, "It was so cold that the piper’s bagpipes froze up after a minute."

Bagpipes and cold weather don't usually go together.  But then, people used to say the same about kilts and skates!

On another housekeeping matter, Gail Dever in Montreal has been helping us iron out some of the glitches in this site as we go along. Gail knows what she's doing: she runs a very successful blog on genealogy that is a goldmine for those researching family histories.

Comments and suggestions on this site are always welcome. Also, you would help us immensely in promoting the kilt skates if you would provide a link to www.kiltskate.com wherever you think people will be interested in what we are doing.
